Zulum Decorates ADC With New Rank

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has decorated his Aide-De-Camp, Ashigar Kulbu, with his new rank of Superintendent of Police.

According to a statement made available to PUNCH Online on Tuesday, the decoration took place on Monday at the Government House in Maiduguri, the state capital.

Zulum was assisted by the state Commissioner of Police, Yusufu Lawal, in performing the honour.

Before his promotion, Kulbu was a Deputy Superintendent of Police.

Zulum congratulated the ADC on his elevation, acknowledging his dedication and commitment to duty.

“I want to congratulate you on your new rank; this is undoubtedly the result of your hard work and dedication to your duty. Therefore, I urge you to continue serving the country dutifully”, the governor stated.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, including the Deputy Governor, Umar Usman Kadafur, the Secretary to the Borno State Government, Alhaji Bukar Tijani, and the Head of Service, Barr. Mallam Fannami. Others present included the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Professor Usman Tar, senior government officials, and officers of the Borno Police Command.
