UK-Based Nigerian Cleric Tobi Adegboyega Says His Ordeal Is Politically-Motivated

Pastor Tobi, the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), is facing allegations of fraud with claims that he is set to be deported to Nigeria.

UK-based Nigerian preacher Tobi Adegboyega claims his ordeal is politically motivated, dismissing allegations of fraud and improper conduct.

Pastor Tobi, the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), is facing allegations of fraud with claims that he is set to be deported to Nigeria.

But the preacher whom many have described as flamboyant said his ordeal with the UK authorities was orchestrated.

“We had a situation where people believed that I was supporting a certain political party,” he said when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday.

He said the “police have not invited anybody” and maintained that “my records in the UK are clean”.
