Multiple award-winning artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has expressed his excitement after casting his vote in the ongoing United States presidential election.
The election, marking the 60th quadrennial presidential contest in the U.S., will determine the successor to outgoing President Joe Biden.
On Tuesday, Davido, born in Atlanta, Georgia, shared his experience as a first-time voter in a post on his verified X account. “First time voter !! 🇺🇸🇺🇸,” he wrote, captioning a photo taken after casting his ballot.
This is Davido’s first time participating in a U.S. election as a citizen. The election is a closely watched contest between Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald Trump, the two leading candidates in the race.
