Nigeria Immigration Service Reads Riot Act To Illegal Immigrants In Niger State
The newly deployed Comptroller of the Niger State command of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Musa Ya’u, has pledged to rid the state of illegal immigrants and effectively mann the borders especially with the current state of insecurity bedevilling the country.
Yau, who pledged during a reception organised for him by the people of the Paiko local government area, also promised to make the issuance of passports easy and real-time.
Musa Ya’u, the 28th Comptroller of Immigration at the Niger State command of the service, is from the Paiko local government area of Niger State, and just took over the mantle of leadership at the command.
At a home coming reception organised for him by the people of his local government area, Comptroller Ya’u said it is an opportunity to contribute his quota towards the fight against terrorism which has bedevilled the state since he knows the terrain well as a son of the soil in collaboration with other sister security agencies.
Making the issuance of passports and its processes easy is another promise that Comptroller Ya’u has made, especially to improve upon the structure he met on the ground.
The chairman of the Niger State security council and Commissioner of Police, CP Shawulu Danmamman, on behalf of other heads of security agencies, pledged to work with Comptroller Ya’u to secure the state.
Meanwhile, the chairman of Paiko Local Government Area, Aminu Yandayi, has supported the command with some motorcycles to ensure that security operatives get to every nook and cranny of the state.
Other speakers attested to the fact that Comptroller Ya’u is a no-nonsense officer with a high level of integrity, and will mann effectively the State’s immigration command with. Positive results.
