The Biggest At Manchester United’, Casemiro’s Wife Defends Midfielder After Liverpool Outing

Manchester United midfielder, Casemiro, was heavily criticized after his performance against Arne Slot’s Liverpool FC on Sunday.

The Brazilian was part of the starting XI when Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United hosted Liverpool at Old Trafford on matchday 3 of the new Premier League season.

However, it was an afternoon to forget for the Brazilian as he made two errors that gifted the two goals that the visitors scored in the first half.

Consequently, Casemiro was hooked off in the second half for youngster Toby Collyer, who made his debut, and completed the match but could not do much as Mohammed Salah scored another just some minutes after the break.

Following the match, Casemiro was criticized by fans and pundits, including Jammie Carragher and Gary Neville, both of whom felt sad about the midfielder’s decline.

But the 32-year-old’s wife, Anna Mariana, has backed him via a post on her social media handle. The post was a collection of the Brazilian’s trophies, including the recent FA Cup this year.

The post had the caption, “Always strong Casemiro, the biggest (flaming heart emoji) at Manchester United.”

It remains to be seen whether Erik Ten Hag can keep trusting Casemiro or find an alternative.
